3rd Grade Bible Study & Bible Adventure

Each year our 3rd graders recieve a new Bible from the Church. We follow up Bible Sunday with a Bible Adventure where the kids enjoy a great evenning of Bible fun, making prayer journals, learning how to use their Bibles better, playing outrageous games and more!

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Five fun filled nights of Faith in June! VBS is an excellent opportunity for children AND adults. Each evening begins with a delicious supper and then the children are divided into age-level classes while adults are offered a class of their own. It is one of the best weeks of the summer! Child Care is provided for volunteers' children and the children of adults who are participating in the adult study.

Communion Study

Four lessons dedicated to teaching children (2nd grade) about the meaning of communion. Students will celebrate Holy Communion with their church family the last Sunday of the series.

Worship Readiness

Kindergarten and 1st grade children attend a four-week class that teaches them about participating in worship. We will cover topics such as singing, reading from the Bible, preaching, the Apostle's Creed, prayer, Baptism and Holy Communion. We might even get a special visit from the Pastors! The class also teaches children to listen to the sermon and participate in the worship service by having them record the sermon notes and answer questions in a special notebook. Students will create their own "Praise Paks" to use during worship with their families.

Sports Camp

Do your kids LOVE sports? JUMC Sports Camp is a high energy, Bible-based, non-competitive sports camp for kids to come and learn/train in a loving atmosphere as well as receive Biblical training.
